In another strange turn, we cover a nearly unknown drama from the director of Runaway Train, and it also turns out to be a good watch. Shy People is a brand of film Hollywood cannot make anymore, a character study of opposites who have more similarities than one might think. It's also surprisingly well paced despite its length and general content. This one is a much smoother and more interesting watch than you might think on the surface.
